These terms govern your use of the Pathie app. You must be at least 16 years old to use Pathie. When you first open the app you tick a box to accept these terms; if you do not accept them, you cannot use the app.
Pathie lets you record your walks, draw routes, collect memories, and — if you want — share them with friends or with everyone. Free requires no purchase; Atlas expands some features and usage limits. Core functions work without an internet connection; parts that come from outside, such as maps, route calculation and weather, do not.
You must provide a valid email address when creating an account. Keeping your account and your sign-in codes secure is your responsibility. You can delete your account at any time, from inside the app or from this page.
The routes, photos, notes and messages you share are yours; ownership does not pass to us. What you grant us is a limited permission, only as far as needed to run the service: to store your content, transmit it, and show it to the audience you chose. That permission ends when you withdraw the share or delete your account.
You confirm that you hold the rights to what you share and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. In particular: do not share photos of people publicly without their consent.
Pathie has two plans: Free, which requires no purchase, and Atlas. Atlas is a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. You can see the features and usage limits it changes under Settings → Plan. Free remains usable without a subscription.
You buy a subscription through the App Store on iPhone or Google Play on Android. The store is the seller and merchant of record: it collects the charge, issues the receipt or invoice, applies tax, and handles cancellation and refunds under its own terms. In Türkiye, VAT is included in the shown price. Prices vary by country and are shown in your local currency in the app and store before purchase.
Pressing the purchase button is your explicit agreement to auto-renewal; the renewal period and price are shown before you press it. The subscription renews for the same period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, without a cancellation fee, through the same channel where you bought it:
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. A plan change or cancellation never deletes anything on your device. Server content above the Free limits also stays; new uploads above a limit are refused until your plan covers them again.
Refunds must be requested from the store, not us; we cannot issue store refunds ourselves. For Apple use reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play, use your Play order history; after Google's first 48-hour window, the store may direct you to the developer.
If a price increases, the store tells existing subscribers and may require their consent. A free trial starts the service immediately at your request. For EU consumers, Apple or Google handles the right of withdrawal for digital content as the seller, under its own terms.
Any content can be reported from inside the app, and you can hide a member you do not want to see. We review every report within 24 hours and remove content found to breach these rules; repeated breaches may lead to an account being suspended or closed. Content reported by several people is hidden automatically until it has been reviewed. If you believe a decision was wrong, you can appeal at support@pathie.app.
Most of the geography the app displays is other people's open data, and attribution is required. The full list is in the app under Settings → Sources; the main ones are:
The service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will run uninterrupted or error-free, or that map and route data will be complete or current. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the service. This limitation does not affect liability for intent or gross negligence, nor any mandatory rights you have under consumer law.
You can delete your account at any time. If you breach these terms, your account may be suspended or closed; if the service is discontinued entirely, you will be given reasonable advance notice so that you can export your data — as an encrypted backup, or route by route in an open format (GPX or GeoJSON).
If these terms change, the app asks for your approval again; the terms carry their own version number and change independently of the privacy document. Changes are never made silently.
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer, the mandatory rights granted to you by the consumer law of your country of residence, and your ability to bring proceedings before its courts, are unaffected.
